Wilmer Y Maria
Wilmer Najarra MORA TORRES and MARIA DEL CARMEN MORENO were artistically born in La Habana, the charming capital city where the great historical, artistic and cultural heritage of the Cuban people finds its highest expression.
Wilmer in 2000 he obtained a Diploma Bailerin Professor at the ENA (Escuela Nacional de Arte de l ’Habana), specializing in Cuban folklore. Subjects of study:African and Rumba (Guaguancò, Yambu and columbia), ballet, modern,contemporary, Spanish Dance. During his studies he became part of the Body of Dance DANCE COMPANY OF CUBAN TV. He then continued his artistic experience in the ballet group of the Macumba SHOW DE LA HABANA and body-dancing CONJUNTO FOLKLORE NACIONAL DE CUBA.
Maria in 2000 obtained the Diploma of the Academy of Dance bailarinaTropicana Havana.
She studied ballet, modern, contemporary, Cuban folklore and Spanish Dance. After the diploma as a dancer, she continued her artistic career in ballet and at the TROPICANA CABARET SHOW Macumba Havana.
Together they came to Italy in 2002 and joined the ballet group of the Restaurant Show ”ELNIÑO DE FUEGO” Marcelli, Marche. They also began to work with various schools. Since 2006 they have been invited to the biggest events in Europe as artists and as teachers.
Wilmer and Maria are in possession of the Italian diploma of “Master of Dance”, with a specialty in Caribbean, acknowledged and issued by MIDA - Italian Masters Dance Sports - Professional Association of Teachers of Dance -the technical FIDS - Italian Federation of Dance sports - National sports Federation recognized by CONI.
