Hikmet Aksoy… The very first time that he had encountered with dance was during the first years of his engineering education in the University of Yildiz. But Latin dances entered his life only years after he became a businessman. His obsession with making archives and to the hot rythm of salsa joined together and this became a life style for him. His ability to find the best and little known pieces of music had been recognized by his dance tutors. Due to his choices of hottest salsas the most melancholic songs of bachata, in a very short time, he became one of the most popular Latin DJ´ s in Turkey. He played on special parties arranged for many worlwide salsa dancers, like Shaka Brown, U-Tribe, Manga Gopal…His first international experience was in BG Salsa Fests. He is working as DJ, organiser and international tour organisator for dance organisations.
