MARCO FERRIGNO

 

Marco Ferrigno began dancing as a child following in the footsteps of his father, a great fan of dance, obtaining remarkable results in national competitions and international Latin dances. As one of Italy’s best Latin dancers he came to represent Italy at Blackbool (UK).

In 2000 he dedicated himself to Salsa and began to dance with the group "Barrio Latino" of Salerno.

He later choreographed the group "New Dance" of Teramo for one year and enjoyed considerable success at several events.

In 2006 he joined the group of Juan Matos "Fogarate Dance Project". With this group he performed on the stages of the most important Latin events, like Rome, London, Atlanta, Rio de Janeiro, Hamburg, Turkey, Barcelona, Nice, Brussels, Murcia, and many more.

In January of 2007 he decided to leave the group and formed a couple with Assal Arian. With his partner he performed again at the most prestigious events in the industry.

In August 2007 Marco performed in New York with the ‘mambo king’ Eddie Torres.

Marco’s style is refined, elegant, with a high doses of New York but he continuously tries to improve his dancing.
